This is a specially machined 40x40x10mm heatsink that can be bolted to the front or backside of a NEMA 17 sized motor (BOLTS NOT INCLUDED). It is commonly used for cooling the mechanical components of a 3D printer extruder. 4 holes are machined 31mm apart to allow mounting to the motor and there is a central hole used to clear the motor shaft.
